Maritime Cook Islands manages the Cook Islands’ ship registry: it registers vessels (ships, yachts etc.) to fly the Cook Islands flag, issues certificates, endorses seafarers, and handles flag state duties worldwide.
The Cook Islands Social Impact Fund (run by the Ministry of Internal Affairs) gives grants to community groups, sports clubs, NGOs and faith-based organisations to fund projects that help vulnerable people, strengthen communities and tackle social issues.
