I’m finally started to get adjusted to life at sea. the first day was probably the most challenging. Sea sickness, keeping your balance, finding things, using the bathroom, #1 and #2, the changing sleep schedules. They are the most basic things that you take for granted when on land. I’m surround by a bunch of guys that have so much aloha for each other and we really haven’t known each other for very long either.

This has definitely made this adjustment a lot easier for all of us. So many highlights of the voyage so far. The highlight of today was that we caught a barracuda and wahoo. Lunch and dinner was so delicious. Oh, another highlight was a crewmate making me my first “milo”, like a hot chocolate after steering the vaka tonight. Sipping on a milo and gazing at the stars was one of the many priceless moments thus far.

Looking forward to whatever new challenges and experiences this voyage has in store.
