Kia orana from Marumaru Atua

Firstly thank you ma’ata Lord for looking after us on the vaka for this long trip. For the first time in my life I want to thank everyone back home for taking the time to say a pure for us. On this trip I’m learning more as I’ve began reading stars, clouds, the sun and moon. Even the seas I’m so grateful for that experience and also having each other’s friendly laughs around and talking about travelling on the ocean, and how the ocean is different around the islands.

The funny thing is that when you go to toilet, when you’re sending your email to the fish, sometimes big waves smash you while you’re having your funny email in the toilet. At night stealing snacks and sharing with the boys haha. It’s funny because some of us on this trip are counting how many days to get to Hawai’i because these boys can’t wait to eat KFC and McDonald’s and drink. We’re sick and tired of drinking plain water everyday hahaha.

At least we’re happy and laughing so we don’t get bored. That’s all I got to say. We’re sailing peacefully and nicely!

Cheers, Roy.
