Seacology’s Marae Moana project aims to help make the biggest multi-use marine park in the world a success by solidifying support for the marine reserve with a public outreach program. It includes using traditional and social media, special efforts for schoolchildren, and participation by traditional leaders in the outer islands. Seacology is working with the Cook Islands Voyaging Society, which sails beautiful Cook Island vakas and teaches children about history and navigation.
