Sea Medic training for Crew

On the 29th and 30th of March, 14 senior CIVS and Te Korero o te Orau members participated in a at sea emergency medic training.  The training was delivered by Tarina Moorfield and focused on pre-hospital emergency care at sea. 

After a quick refresher, and training in common presentations and care, the team practiced managing a variety of different emergency situations at seas, and ways of managing these situations until emergency service or hospital are could be given. Everyone enjoyed the training and the learnings.  A donation was made to Te Puaikura fire station to thank Tarina for her training expertise and delivery of skills.
